This magnificent 4 star Hotel which opened in April 1991 is situated in the picturesque village of Carvoeiro, just 60 kms from Faro International Airport. It has been built on the rocks above the Vale Covo beach,which is surrounded by caves and rocks forming an inlet of clear and quiet waters. As foretold by an old Algarvian legend, Almansor was a Moorish general, who died a sorrowful death for losing a battle against the King of Leon and Castile.
