Quinta da Marinha is a superb golf resort located near Cascais, a short distance from the warm and sandy south facing beaches of the Tagus estuary.
Nearby is the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park and the village of Sintra, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.Cabo da Roca, the most westerly point in mainland in Europe, is about 25 minutes drive away from Cascais. The nearby coastal road has several large restaurants specialised in the local fish dishes.
This resort is surrounded by a beautiful golf course and equipped with all the necessary infrastructures for the practise of the sport. The surrounding protected landscape ensures a feeling of open countryside even within the Hotel itself.
Besides the hotelaccommodation, there are 45 self catering town houses set in a total of 250 acres and surrounded by pine woods and the two golf courses. There are two types of accommodation:TH1 - Townhouse with 1 bedroom and living room.
TH2 - Townhouse with 2 bedrooms and a living room.
Each town house is furnished with either a kitchenette or a fully fitted kitchen, a terrace, fireplace in the living room, satellite TV and direct dial telephone. Daily maid service is also included in the rental.
Within the resort there are shops, restaurants, bar, fitness centre, 6 tennis courts, a golf academy with a 9 hole course, an 18 hole championship course, three outdoor swimming pools (2 of which with sea water), Kids Club and other facilities for the use of the guests.Quinta da Marinha resort is about thirty minutes by road from Lisbon and its airport.
